Odyssey of the Mind [2020-2021]

For 2020-2021, Coleman Elementary School operated virtually.

Grade 1 team selected the Primary Problem, Grades 3-5 chose Technical category and both teams operated fully virtual.

The Journey

Team Ruby - Virtual Odyssey (Technical Category)

Team Rubys - Dahlia, bored with her small town, discovers a mysterious video game shop. She buys a VR game that transports her to a 2D world where she must collect four rubies to return home. A shape-shifting creature tricks her, stealing her rubies. With help from a talking tree named O, Dahlia battles the creature, reclaims the rubies, and escapes back home, gaining new appreciation for her town.

Awesome Rainbow Kids - The historical battle of the bulb of life & death

When super villains steal the Bulb of Life and plan to use its power to control the universe, a group of superheroes and super animals must stop them and find a way for everyone to live together in harmony.
